CEOLA „The Perks Of Simplicity“

CEOLA is a piano-vocal duo from Slovenian pianist Nina Baš and Irish vocalist Conchúr Ó Riain.

Their concert consists of intimate story-telling through the medium of contemporary jazz. Over the past year, they have been writing original songs with influences from Cecile Mclorin Salvant, Rufus Wainwright, Brad Mehldau and Israeli pianist Shai Maestro. Each of their songs have intricate melodies and lushes chords that vamp on the stylings of jazz while also taking the listener down a path of meditativeness through words that talk not just about love and loss but the complexities of human existence.
