Mahan Mirarab and Pippo Corvino have very similar musical and cultural roots. Jazz, polyrhythms, sanctions or war are only few of their many common experiences. After meeting in Vienna in 2017, they soon started playing and creating a special type of music, which was reflecting their shared experiences. By making a unique acoustic sound, they try to take away the focus from the typical performance norms, leaving enough space and opportunity for a listener to catch the intricate details of beautiful sonic textures that two acoustic guitars can create. By maximum usage of space acoustics, the real magic happens when the frequencies of the nylon fretless and the steel acoustic guitar blend.
