Victoria Kirilova is a Bulgarian bass player and composer, currently living in Vienna. Her project „Shevitza“ is a mix of various influences from contemporary jazz and chamber music to the poetry and grooves of Bulgarian traditional chants and odd rhythms. Together with her fellow musicians, Victoria has some short stories to tell – tales about rebellious girls, ghost trains and horses, dancing waltz…
